Lightships is the brain child of Teenage Fanclub singer, songwriter, bassist and found- ing member Gerard Love. Lightships is very much a band and Gerard sought out a cast of Glasgow-based friends to help shape the sound. Playing with him are Dave McGowan (guitar, Teenage Fanclub), Brendan O'Hare (drums, from the first incarnation of Teenage Fanclub), Tom Crossley (flute, International Airport and The Pastels) and Bob Kildea (bass, Belle & Sebastian).
